The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) is the trade association for developers, owners and investors in industrial, office and related commercial real estate. Founded in 1967, NAIOP is comprised of 6,500+ members in 47 North American chapters and offers its members business and networking opportunities, education programs, research on trends and innovations and strong legislative representation.
NAIOP provides communication, networking and business opportunities for all real estate related professionals; serves as a forum for continuing education; and promotes effective public policy through its grassroots network to create, protect and enhance property values.
IOREBA Web Site
The Industrial and Office Real Estate Brokers Association of the Metropolitan New York Area, Inc. (IOREBA) is one of the nation's largest regional organizations, and is the oldest commercial and industrial real estate brokers association in the United States. From an original 33 members in 1927, IOREBA has grown to over 325 members located throughout New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. The core membership of brokers is joined by associate members from allied fields including developers, architects, lenders, investors, public utilities, and economic development organizations. The organization promotes professional education, networking, and the development of strategic friendships within the industry. McBride Corporate Real Estate has long taken a leadership role in this organization. McBride President, Michael Jacobus, was the organization's past president from 1988-89, and McBride Vice President Robert Scherreik was the past president for 1997-98.
